What do you do at OLBC?
Like most of us, I have several roles at the brewery. As the brewmaster, I'm in charge of all things on the production side - brewing, tank cleaning, keg cleaning, line cleaning, cleaning the cleaning, cleaning the cleaning with cleaning, etc. I work special events such as tap takeovers, beer dinners, beer festivals, and tastings. Sometimes I deliver beer. Sometimes I tend bar. Sometimes I help devise marketing strategies. Mostly, I get on people's nerves.
What do you do outside of OLBC?
In this imaginary world that exists outside the brewery, I play outside as much as possible - disc golf, kayaking, hiking. I read a lot. Currently, I'm in the middle of Bonk by Mary Roach and Incident at Twenty-Mile, a Western thriller by one of the genre's great masters, Trevanian. I'm somewhat of a foodie, so I spend too much money exploring great food and drink from cultures around the world. My greatest obsession is live music. I have little time for it these days. Recent shows I've seen include Kinky Friedman, Future Islands, River Whyless, and Rubblebucket.
Where do you come from?

Doomed to spend eternity craving liquid refreshment, Tyler roams the Earth in search of the perfect brew to slake his unquenchable thirst.
What keeps you awake at night?
